Each year since our establishment in 2006, we have consistently made slight adjustments to our products/services in order to keep up with the ever changing industry which we operate in.
2007 was straight forward, we commenced only 4 months prior so 2007 really was our establishing year. Our offering was very straight forward and well defined, we were a graphic design agency with a focus on licensed partyware and packaging . This essentially accounted for 80% of our services, whilst the remaining 20% was spent on the occasional web design project (although funnily enough, our history of expertise was in web design).
2008 was relatively the same, although we were taking on a wider variety general print projects such as brochure design, business cards, and posters.
Early 2009 was a great time, we were extremely busy with design work, and had managed to acquire a few new clients with licensed product design work. So we finally had a chance to add some variety to partyware. Web design projects were beginning to gain some traction also.
2010 was the year we gradually lost licensed product design work. Our number one client sold their business to a much larger company who had a TEAM of designers in the United States. Others were slowly adopting the inevitable approach of keeping design in-house. However this all turned out to be a blessing in disguise because our web design workload was starting to get heavy, and we were also doing a lot of corporate design work. By the end of 2010, we made an executive decision to don the digital era and evolve in a web ONLY agency. This was our biggest decision since establishment.
2011 has been primarily about streamlining the transition between print design and web design, and has turned out to be a very effective decision. It has given us the opportunity to focus our efforts on a very specific expertise.
Which brings us to our announcement for 2012…
As of Day 1, 2012, Innervision Media will be solely an eCommerce development agency. This means we will design and develop websites for businesses who intend on selling their products online. Together with this, we offer Internet Marketing/Search Engine Optimisation, and Web Hosting/Domain Name registration.
